Instructional league to understand teamwork and develop skills. Eight weekly practices (6:30pm-8:30pm) and games (10’ Baskets). Teams will practice one night per week with games on Saturdays. Teams will be setup by the WLCE Recreation Department following the Team Formation Guidelines. Volunteer Coaches Clinics – Saturday, October 8th from 9:00am to 11:00am. Mandatory background information, clearance and concussion training for volunteer coaches (details covered at the coach’s clinic). Players will be notified by their coach of practice times and location AFTER the coach’s clinic. Each team will have at least one practice before their first game. Practices may begin the week of October 10th (practice location/day - coach’s choice). Games begin on Saturday, October 15th @ Clifford Smart MS (end on Saturday, December 10th). Jersey included.

WLCE Basketball is an instructional intramural league designed for young athletes to develop skills and learn to play as a team. Teams will practice one night per week at a WLCSD school (6:30pm-8:30pm). Saturdays will consist of one-hour games played on 10’ baskets.

Teams will be set up by the WLCE Recreation Dept. Players will be placed on teams using the following criteria: the school they attend, the number of volunteer coaches and total number of players from each school. We will not be able to honor any special requests. Players will receive a jersey for participating. *Background information, clearance and concussion training is mandatory for all volunteer coaches*
