Spikers Volleyball is an instructional intramural league to understand teamwork and develop skills. Spikers will run six weeks on Mondays and Wednesdays. Players and volunteer coaches will receive instruction from WLCSD Volleyball Coach’s with demonstrations by local high school players at practice. Teams will participate in clinics the first two weeks then resume with practice and games each week. **Exact times to be determined once registration has closed.** NEW: Spikers will be located at Clifford Smart and Geisler Middle School. Your child’s practice/game location will be determined by their home school. An end of season tournament will be played on Saturday, 5/20.
Teams will be setup by WLCE Recreation Department. Players are placed on teams by: school they attend, number of volunteer coaches and total number of players from each school (late registrations are added to teams in need of players). We CANNOT honor special requests. Mandatory background information, clearance and concussion training for volunteer coaches.
