This instructional basketball league allows players to become part of a team, develop skills, and participate in a five week program consisting of weekly practices (6:30pm-7:30pm) and games (8’ Baskets). Teams will practice one night per week at a WLCSD school with games on Saturdays. The first two Saturdays will consist of a one-hour clinic run by Tom Negoshian, Youth Basketball Instructor and our volunteer coaches. The remaining Saturdays will consist of one-hour games.
Teams will be set up by the WLCE Recreation Dept. Players will be placed on teams using the following criteria: the school they attend, the number of volunteer coaches and total number of players from each school. We will not be able to honor any special requests. Players will receive a jersey for participating. *Background information, clearance and concussion training is mandatory for all volunteer coaches*
