Grades 7th-8th: 2:00pm to 5:00pm

Join us at the Walled Lake Outdoor Education Center for a Wilderness Survival Class! Learn what to do if you find yourself alone in the woods, how to build a fire, construct a shelter, and what to include in your emergency kit. You will also learn techniques to help you purify water and create an emergency signal. We will cover the importance of identifying and understanding priorities and students will engage in meaningful discussions and experimental learning opportunities. S'mores will be provided!
