Gladiators Lacrosse is perfect for young athletes looking for an introduction to lacrosse. 1st and 2nd graders will play a 4v4 format with teams from the Suburban Lacrosse League.
UNIFORM: Jersey and Shorts included in registration.
EQUIPMENT: All players must purchase the necessary equipment. This includes shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, lacrosse stick, mouth guard, athletic supporter and helmet (must be Lacrosse NOCSAE approved). Some equipment is available to barrow from Walled Lake Community Education. Please contact AlexSovel@wlcsd.org for more information.
PRACTICE: Teams will practice two days per week starting mid-March through the first week of June. Practice days and times TBD by coach. All practices will be at Cifford Smart Middle School. Home games will be held at a district high school or middle school field.
GAMES: Games are played on Saturdays against teams in the Suburban Lacrosse League. We will expect to play 8-10 games starting in late April.
LEAGUE MEETING: Full league information will be available at the MANDATORY Parent/Guardian meeting on March 6th from 6:00-7:00pm via Zoom. This meeting is mandatory to ensure communication and a positive experience for all players.
