This competitive league is for the player who may have missed out on the school team, or want to refine skills to try out again! Teams will be made up of boys currently in grades 6-8 and put together dependent on the school they attend. Teams will be put together by the Community Education Department and will have a maximum of 14 players per team. Each team will need a volunteer coach who will be required to attend a coaches clinic on December 7, 2019 at 9:00am at Smart Middle School. Background clearance is mandatory. Teams will play 8 games playing on Saturdays starting in early January 2020. KLMSL rules will apply. Additional league rules may be added at the coaches meeting. Teams will have up to 2 hours of practice per week. If additional facilities are available, 2 additional hours may be given. Players will be notified of practice times and locations after the coaches clinic on December 7, 2019. Each team will have at least one practice before their first game. Players will receive a jersey for participating. Team Standings will be kept and individual awards handed out to League Champions. **DUE TO MHSAA RULES, ANY PLAYER ON A MIDDLE SCHOOL ROSTER MAY NOT PLAY IN THIS LEAGUE!!!!!
