This instructional basketball league allows players to become part of a team, develop skills, and participates in a four week program consisting of one Saturday clinic, practices and three games. The first Saturday will have a one hour clinic run by Tom Negoshian, Youth Basketball Instructor along with the assistance of our volunteer coaches. The last three Saturdays will consist of one hour games. Teams will be set up by the WLCE Recreation Dept. Players will be placed on teams using the following criteria: the school they attend, the number of volunteer coaches and total number of players from each school. Unfortunately we will not be able to honor any special requests. NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER March 28, 2020. Players will receive a jersey for participating. Volunteer coaches will be required to attend a coaching clinic on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at 9:00am in the Clifford Smart gym. *Background information, clearance and concussion training is mandatory for all volunteer coaches, this will be covered at the coaching clinics.* *You will be notified of your team and practice day / location AFTER the Coach Clinic on Saturday, April 18, 2020.*
