Open to students entering 6th-8th grade in the Fall 2024 school year. This intramural basketball league allows players to become part of a team, develop skills, and participate in a seven week program consisting of weekly practices and games. Teams will practice one night per week at a WLCSD School. Practice day, time, and location TBD by volunteer coach. Games will be played Wednesday afternoons at a Walled Lake Middle School.
Teams will be set up by the WLCE Recreation Dept. Players will be placed on teams using the following criteria: the school they attend, the number of volunteer coaches and total number of players from each school. We will not be able to honor any special requests. Middle School basketball rules will be followed. Players will receive a jersey for participating. *Background information, clearance and concussion training is mandatory for all volunteer coaches*
